繼 6 月初趕在 Apple Vision Pro 亮相前的那次簡單發表後，Meta Quest 3 的面紗終於在今天被徹底揭開。根據我們姊妹網站 Engadget 動手玩後的感想，它應該是 Quest 2 這款此前最熱門主流 VR 產品的合格繼承者。相比對普通人多少有點華而不實的 Quest Pro，Quest 3 的改進思路顯得很實際。它全新的 Y 形頭帶能更好地固定裝置，前方新設的彩色相機亦能配合深度感應器幫助使用者更好地掌握周圍環境。除此之外，蓝冠官网新機也為戴眼鏡的用家提供了機內鏡片調節功能。在機器上你能找到耳機孔和 USB-C 埠，內建的揚聲器也支援空間音訊以增加沉浸感。
在規格方面，Quest 3 升級到了高通新發的 Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 晶片，圖形效能達到了 Quest 2 的兩倍。Quest Pro 上的餅乾鏡片也被拿了過來，這讓整機變薄了 40%。同時顯示面板的解析度也提升到了單眼 2,064 x 2,208，但更新率還是維持在和上代一樣的 90Hz 不變（但用戶還是跟過去一樣能開啟 120Hz 實驗選項）。新品的視野增大了約 15%，水平和垂直視野分別達到 110 度和 96 度。至於眼部、面部追蹤的功能並沒出現在 Quest 3 上，Meta 還是在各產品線間保持了差異。
如之前介紹的那樣，廠方此次也重新設計了控制器。這套 Touch Plus 手把最大的變化是去掉了追蹤環，但即便如此 Quest 3 仍可透過感應器找到它們的位置。而且就算你把控制器伸到視野之外，裝置也還是能靠 AI 來預測你的手部動作。除此之外，Touch Plus 亦整合了 Touch Pro 上的 TruTouch 觸覺回饋技術。而在續航力方面，Quest 3 基本和 Quest 2 保持一致。根據你使用 app 的情況，可能在最多 1.5 至 3 小時不等。

在體驗實機之後，Engadget 的編輯明顯感到 Quest 3 的畫面要比前代更清晰，手部動作變得更精準，而且喇叭發聲也更具浸入感。新晶片帶來的效能提升可以說非常有感，尤其是當你用雙擊側面的手勢切換 VR 和現實世界畫面的時候，停頓幾乎可以忽略不計。當然，加強的硬體需要有合適的內容來展現。根據 Meta 的說法，Quest 3 原生向後支援 Oculus Store 裡目前所有超過 500 款應用，蓝冠代理而且接下來還有約 100 款專為它打造的 app 會到來（其中幾款已在動手玩影片中出現）。更厲害的是，從今年 12 月起 Xbox Cloud Gaming 也會正式登陸這款頭戴裝置，玩家將能在虛擬的 2D 螢幕上玩到《星空》等作品。
總體來說，編輯對 Quest 3 帶來的升級比較滿意，只是其仍無法確定這麼一款產品能否打動那些原本對 VR、AR 興趣不大的人群。Meta Quest 3 已從今日開始預售，128GB 和 512GB 型號的價格分別是 US$500（約 HK$3,910）和 US$650（約 HK$5,080），10 月 10 日開始出貨。
